singer/songwriter types: can't go wrong w/ ray lamontagne, martin sexton...perhaps elliot smith, for the more morose appetite, nick drake on the same token.

Let me know what you think.

First, Ray Lamontage and Nick Drake aren't on the archive. I have heard some of Lamontage's stuff, though, and it's decent. I didn't care much for Elliot Smith (a bit too much rock for what I was looking for), but I do enjoy Martin Sexton. Thanks for the suggestions.

Any more suggestions?

Maybe you'd like:
(I highly recommend) Railroad Earth 3/6/04, 8/8/04. just a couple shows to get you started.
and maybe Keller Williams 1/27/04, 5/28/05.
and though not on the archive, check out Townes Van Zandt if you ever get the chance.
good luck.
